QUESTION – Paper Ebook or Audio
NOTE: The survey is embedded in the newsletter email. If you’d like to answer this question now, please just shoot me an email.
Hey, I just want to say thanks again for being part of my community and watching these videos.
I’ve got another question for you today, actually two.
I hope you don’t mind but as I’ve said before I’m not really running this like your normal email newsletter thing that a lot of people do. I really want to get to know you so I can serve you the very best I can.
My question today is… What is your favorite mechanism or format for reading? In other words, are you a PAPER ONLY reader
Do you use a Kindle or some other kind of e-reader
Or do you primarily read with your ears, and prefer audiobooks.
AND the second, bonus question is this…
What is your favorite reading beverage? A hot cup of coffee or tea? Iced tea? Maybe a glass of wine or even something a little stronger? Seriously, I would like to know, and just to show there’s no judging here, I’ll go first.
While I love the feel and the touch and even the smell of real paper books, these days I do the vast majority of my FICTION reading, with audiobooks and I do a lot of my non-fiction reading with the Kindle app on my iPad. I’m just getting to the age where the ability to make that font a little bigger on the tablet really comes in handy.
As for my reading beverage, I love to make unsweet herbal iced tea by combining a couple of different flavors, like raspberry, hibiscus, and passionfruit, and then squeezing a little lemon, lime or orange in. That to me is just a great reading drink.
Having said that, remember I said no judging, one of my favorite reading scenarios is to sit in my back yard with my smoker grill set to cook some delicious food and to take three of four hours at a low temperature.
When I’m doing that a cold glass of beer and/or a sip of a fine southern bourbon, while listening to an audiobook over the Bluetooth speakers, is kinda my idea of heaven.
So that’s mine and I’m really looking forward to hearing yours.
Take care and hopefully we’ll talk soon.
